New changes regarding the specialty of dermatology, for both the patients and the physicians. the changes will take effect starting on 15/5/2020.

For Patients:

The therapy for acne, which was included in the General Healthcare System, will not be offered any more.

For Doctors:

From now on, Dermatologists are obliged to keep a record with photos tο prove the health problem of a patient. the therapies that should be proved include cautery or destruction with laser. 

The Health Insurance Organization mentions that there is a possibility to ask such photos in case there is a need to validate doctor’s claims.
